B.I. Solutions is a data intelligence company that uses their website to attract and test potential contractors and to streamline back-office practices like invoice generation.
Ruby on Rails Programming
I coded the Ruby on Rails/MySQL database-driven backend and implemented the HTML and CSS based on my own design. Some of the back-end's features include:
- User accounts, logins, and profiles
- Timed exams that evaluate the skillsets of potential contractors (using JavaScript to keep track of the amount of time remaining)
- An admin panel where administrators can view applicants and their exam scores
- A simple content management system enabling the administrator to edit the site text
- Back-end functions that enable the administrator to generate and print invoices based on contractor hours
